Der HUNGER Wellendichtring WDI ist als Dichtelement für permanent drehende Wellen einsetzbar und kann beidseitig abdichten.
Aufgrund der besonderen Materialqualität und der optimierten Dichtungsgeometrie kann dieses Dicht- element bis zu einer Gleitgeschwindigkeit von 0,8 m/s eingesetzt werden.
Das Spaltmaß sollte 0,2 mm nicht übersteigen. Die Rauhigkeit der Gegenlauffläche sollte Ra 0,1 - 0,3 μm sein.
Je nach Anforderung und Betriebsbedingungen empfiehlt sich eine Behandlung der Gegenlauffläche, wie z. B. Härten auf ca. 56 HRC oder Hartverchromen.

The HUNGER shaft seal type WDI is applied as a sealing element for permanently rotating shafts and is capable of sealing on both sides.
Due to the use of special materials and an optimum seal profile it can be used for speeds up to 0.8 m/s.
The gap size should not be more than 0.2 mm. The surface finish of the sliding surface should be Ra 0.1 - 0.3 μm.
Depending on the specifications and operating condi- tions it is recommended to have the running surface hardened to approx. 56 HRC or hard chromium plated.
